My name is Tisha Williamson. I was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio, home of the world famous Y-Bridge. Yes, it's true! The bridge is in the shape of a Y! Look it up. It is very cool! After high school my family moved to Georgia. I attended North Georgia College and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I received my masters degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. I am also certified in in gifted education.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE teaching! It is the only thing I have ever wanted to do! When I was three years old I told my Mom that I wanted to be a teacher and I have never looked back. I am beginning my seventeenth year as an educator. I have experience in Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth Grades. Most of my teaching experience has been here in the Grayson Cluster. In 2001, I moved to Grayson Elementary where I taught both fourth and first grades. In 2009, I made the decision to become part of this wonderful new school. I am proud to be a Charter Member of the Starling Elementary staff!
I live in Loganville with my husband, James, an administrator at Grace Snell Middle School, our daughter Abby, a 7th grader at Couch Middle School, and our son Tyler, a second grader here at Starling.
